On February 20 and 21, 2019, People and Nature Reconciliation (PanNature<\/a>) organized the second training on propagating forest plants at the Field Office in Bo Nhang 2 Village, Van Ho Commune, Van Ho District, Son La.<\/p>\n

10 members of Xuan Nha Commune Women Association, Van Ho district, participated in this training.<\/p>\n

On the first day, participants were instructed how to select seedlings, branching and preserve branches and seed materials after cutting.<\/p>\n

This knowledge was then practiced by women through collecting seed materials (Erythropalum scandens\u00a0<\/i>Blume,\u00a0Melientha suavis\u00a0<\/i>Pierre<\/em>) for cutting in Chieng Nua village; and Celastrus hindsii\u00a0<\/span>Benth<\/em> in Thin village.<\/p>\n

On the second day, the training was held at PanNature’s Field Office. All participants have received basic technical guidance in cuttings; soil mixing, potting, and transferring seedlings from the sowing trays to pots before practicing cuttings Erythropalum scandens\u00a0<\/i>Blume,\u00a0Melientha suavis\u00a0<\/i>Pierre,\u00a0<\/em>Celastrus hindsi<\/i>i\u00a0<\/em><\/span>Benth<\/em> and Ardisia silvestris<\/i>\u00a0Pitard<\/em>.<\/p>\n
