Happy New Year of the Buffalo!

On the occasion of the New Year of the Buffalo, PanNature would like to send sincere thanks to colleagues, scientists, friends, advisers, partners, and donors for your cooperation, support, and encouragement for our efforts in protecting the environment and conserving natural resources in Vietnam.

2009 marks the fourth year of PanNature as new emerging nature conservation organization in Vietnam. With you all by our side, our team have built up a motivated and dedicated organization that learn and adapt to tackle new challenges in nature conservation.

We hope that you will continue supporting our work and help us make PanNature a pioneering civil society organization in conserving Vietnam’s natural heritage for the sustainable future for all.

During this time, PanNature’s office will be closed from January 24th to February 1st. We will be back working again on Monday, February 2nd. Save the Mekong Coalition Launch
On March 14th 2009 in Bangkok, a new coalition to save Southeast Asia's Mekong River is launched at a special photography exhibition. The Save the Mekong coalition was formed in response to growing public concern about the effects big dams would have on the Mekong's migratory fish stocks, regional food security, and the livelihoods of millions of people. PanNature also joins the Save the Mekong coalition and pledges to play an active role in promoting information and raising public awareness on issues related to the Mekong River in Vietnam.
